In this study, criteria sampling method and maximum diversity sampling method, which are among the purposeful sampling methods, were used in determining the sample. In addition, a case study, one of the qualitative research designs, was used. In the study, after in-depth interviews were conducted with 31 people from six different Turkish states, including tourism academics, ministry representatives and managers working in the tourism sector, thematic analysis was conducted using the MAXQDA 2020 qualitative data analysis program. As a result of the study, it was stated that cooperation in the field of tourism will contribute to the development of economies and the maintenance of political unity in Turkish states. Furthermore, it was realized that the tourism destinations in these countries should be promoted and marketed in various ways and an umbrella organization for tourism cooperation needs to be established.
