This study focused on the belongings of Hacı Bektaş Lodge in Hacıbektaş district after the closure of Bektashi Lodges, which were among the closed lodges and zawiyahs. When the Hacı Bektaş Lodge was closed, the belongings, especially the books, were recorded. Among those who made this first record were Hamit Zübeyr Koşay and Hilmi Ziya Ülken, who were inspectors. The objects and artifacts situated in the Hacı Bektaş Lodge were first collected in a room in the Lodge, and some of them were in private possessions. Since the Dervish Lodge were built as agricultural school, the gendarmerie building and the school, the artifacts and objects were firstly gathered in one room. Then, the objects and artifacts situated and recorded in the Dervish Lodge were sent to Ankara by the delegation assigned from Ankara. The objects and artifacts sent from Kırşehir were put in a warehouse in Ankara Castle and then transferred to the Ethnography Museum and the Public Library. As a result, with the closure of lodges and zawiyahs, Hacı Bektaş Veli Lodge was also closed. The remains of the artifacts and objects in the lodge were moved to Ankara. Later, some of these works were destroyed and some of them were sent to some museums in Turkey and abroad. This study revealed the transfer of the artifacts in the Hacı Bektaş Veli Lodge and the process of turning the lodge into a museum again with the data obtained from archive records and researches. Artifacts and objects were identified and transferred together with archive records, including the moving processes and those that were deregistered for different reasons at different times.
