Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the intention development process of household consumers towards green electricity consumption within the scope of behavioral reasoning theory and to reveal the factors that may affect behavioral intention formation. The method of the research is descriptive research and the data was obtained by online survey method. In this context, data was obtained from 404 participants residing in various provinces across Türkiye. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the factors of attitude, eco-friendly consumer innovativeness and reasons for and against green electricity consumption directly affect the behavioral intention. The values variable has a positive effect on the attitude and indirectly contributes to the process of behavioral intention formation, whereas other variables do not affect the attitude variable.
