Özet

Being the Cosmic Super System, Tawhidi Thought accounts for the major source of Islamic civilization. Inherent in the whole universe in general and in everything on Earth in particular, Tawhid refers to the episteme of oneness (Ahad) of Allah. All the sciences, social systems, and epistemological approaches are developed according to the methodology of Tawhidi Thought. Before the process of cultural change from the tradition of a thought system in line with tawhid, which is the oneness of Allah, to the system of modern thought, it was the ideology of tawhid that enabled the Ottoman state to dominate the world until the 19th century. However, as a result of the cultural change based on positivism in the form of westernization that has lasted up to the present, Turkey has been a subject of an orientalist definition as an Eastern country which is underdeveloped and just produces imitative scientific information. The main purpose of this study is to explain the sociological situation in Turkey by considering the current situation in the context of "method of thought-cultural change" that emerged as a result of the interaction of these two elements.
