Özet

Sandikli is a settlement in which Bektashism operates intensively. XIII. century onwards, together with Haci Bektas Veli, Bektashism has started to operate in Anatolia, has had many lodges and tombs in Sandikli. Kalenderi lodge, founded by Koluacik Hacim Sultan, was turned into Bektashi lodge in the XVI. centruy. Also, Mürüvvet Baba, Koyun Baba, Sheikh Kavak (Kavaf) Dede, Kulacik Ali Baba, Yalincak Baba and Mentes Baba lodges and tombs, are the other Bektashi centers of operating in Sandikli. Until the beginning of the XXth century, protecting the assets of these institutions during the abolition of the Bektashi Janissary Corps in 1826 due to the prohibition of activities was disrupted for a while, but those lodges are in line with the least damage the ehl-i sunnet has to spend. Thus, Bektashism in Sandikli kept its existence up to the closure of all religious lodges and tombs in 1925. Above-mentioned lodges and tombs, besides being religious centers for guests, served as accommodation and shelter. In addition, those lodges have been performing functions such as the social perspective, social solidarity, unity and togetherness. In this study, Bektashi activities will be introduced throughout the history in Sandikli.
