Özet
The Chinese history is full of the coalescence based upon Huaxia and then ultimately Chineseization of different nations and communities. Huaxia community, which adopted a settled life in early times and successfully formed a civilization with a writing style, constituted the basis of philosophy, thought, and mentality of Chinese nation in the epoch of Chunqiu/ 春秋 (Spring – Autumm, BC770-476). After the epoch of the Zhanguo/战国 (Warring Chiefdoms, BC 476-221), the Huaxia community managed to constitute a central and feudal state (Qin Dynasty, BC221-207) near the yellow river. The central Chinese states live between Yellow River and Yangtze River where on fertile fields, developed different but sustained administration strategies. It is understood by the historical records that these strategies were effectively used for China’s relations with the surrounding societies and countries. Additionally, it is known that while current People's Republic of China is constituted in the border of Manchu–Qing Empire (1644-1911) and while it administers non-Chinese societies and communities invaded by Manchu, it developed and implemented more efficient systems by using historical memory and the bureaucracy of administration. This study aims to clarify the matter by understanding China’s relationship with neighboring countries through the current Chinese type autonomous region system, with a focus on various administration strategies and practices that China implemented, and the administration of Non-Chinese peoples around itself and within the border in its history.
