© 2019. All Rights Reserved.The aim of this research is to analyze the contribution of the state sponsored students under the law no:1416 to their institutions and organizations. The focus group of this research consists of 27 students who carry out their compulsory services in 10 different state institutions and organizations and 3 administrators of those institutions and organizations. In this research, semi-structured interview forms have been used as the data collection tool. All of the sponsored students indicated that having a postgraduate education abroad has significantly contributed to their personal, professional and academic developments. The students pointed out that they are not able to implement their experiences that they gained during their education abroad to the institutions they work for. Suggestions were made in this study in order to improve and increase the contributions of the sponsored students to the institutions and organizations they work for according to the views of sponsored students and administrators.
