This paper deals, firstly, with the institutionalization process of folklore as an academic discipline from a historical point of view. Then the paper evaluates the separation process of social and natural sciences in the context of the duality between mitos and logos. As a result of these, the paper views quantum physics as a crucial advancement remerging social and natural sciences on the same platform and demonstrates the relevance of quantum physics to folklore using a variety of examples. As a conclusion, it is observed that the scientific quantum laws are easly applicable to the folklore as a social sciense discipline.
