Özet
The Khoja Ahmet Yesevi mausoleum-hanaka, located in Turkistan, Kazakhstan, is a remarkable example of Timurid architecture. It was built in the late 14th to early 15th century under the direction of Timur. This structure holds great significance in the history and architectural art of Kazakhstan and Central Asia. Studies indicate that there were earlier structures on the burial site of Khoja Ahmet Yesevi before Timur’s construction. However, details about these structures, such as their design or purpose, remain unknown. The purpose of this study is to analyze recent scholarly perspectives concerning the Khoja Ahmet Yesevi Mausoleum and the surrounding structures, as well as to present newly discovered findings related to the subject.
