Within the context of this article, the phenomenon of «blood» is considered as the ground for the transformation of individual and/or society. It further elaborates on the responses for blood contracts which maintained its sustainability through rituals, and their relationship. This article evaluates the transformations that the phenomenon of blood symbolises and combines the concept of transformation rituals together with initiation. Thus, when we evaluate the relationship between blood and bloodline, we discover with three different stages of initiation. These involve: menstruation, as the sign of becoming a woman, circumcision as the first step of being a man, and for last, virginity blood related to marriage institution and ancestry. The phenomena of blood have the additional function of transformation to the sacred status through social contracts.
