Bu çalışma, 2016-2020 yılları arasında Türkiye'de okul öncesi eğitimde yaratıcı drama alanında yapılan lisansüstü tezleri analiz etmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Alanda yürütülen tezleri bulmak için Yükseköğretim Kurulu (YÖK) Ulusal Tez Merkezi veri tabanı 21.01.2021-18.02.2021 tarihleri arasında gözden geçirilmiş ve okul öncesi çocukları, okul öncesi öğretmenleri/öğretmen adayları ve aileleri ile drama konulu, yaratıcı drama alanında yapılmış, eğitim ve öğretim alanında, YÖK Ulusal Tez Merkezi'ne erişim izni ile kayıtlı olan lisansüstü tezlerin belirlenmesine özen gösterilmiştir. Belirlenen kriterler doğrultusunda toplam 31 adet lisansüstü tez, çalışmaya dahil edilmiş ve nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesi tekniği kullanılarak verilere ulaşılmıştır. Lisansüstü tezler hakkında detaylı bilgi “Lisansüstü Tez İnceleme Formu” ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmaya dahil edilen lisansüstü tezler, tez yılı, tez türü, çalışma grubu, incelenen konu alanları, yöntemler, desenler, veri toplama araçları ile sonuçlar başlıkları altında detaylandırılmış ve verilerin analizinde frekans (f) kullanılmıştır. Türkiye'de drama alanında yapılan lisansüstü tez çalışmalarının türlerine göre dağılımı incelendiğinde, yüksek lisans tezlerinin doktora tezlerine kıyasla sayıca çok daha fazla olduğu, 2019 yılında gerçekleştirilen lisansüstü tez sayılarında ciddi bir artış yaşandığı belirlenmiş ve son beş yıllık süreç içerisinde en çok çocuk örnekleminde lisansüstü tez çalışmalarının gerçekleştiği saptanmıştır.
This study was conducted to analyse the postgraduate theses in the field of drama in pre-school education in Turkey between 2016 and 2020. In order to find out the theses carried out in the field, Higher Education Council (YÖK) National Thesis Centre data base was reviewed between 21.01.2021 and 18.02.2021 and care was taken to determine the postgraduate theses for some criteria. In line with these criteria, a total of 31 postgraduate theses were included in the study and the data were accessed using document analysis technique, one of the qualitative research methods. Detailed information about the postgraduate theses was collected with “Postgraduate These Analysis Form”. Postgraduate these included in the study were examined under the headings, type of thesis, objective, study group, methods, designs and data collection tools and frequency (f) were used in the analysis of data. When the distribution of postgraduate these studies was examined in terms of type of theses, it was found that the number of masters’ theses was much higher than the number of doctoral theses, there was a serious increase in the number of theses in 2019 and mostly children took place in the postgraduate thesis studies carried out within the specified dates.
