Özet
Artificial intelligence (AI) has become a crucial component in the development and management of smart cities. Through the integration of big data analytics, predictive modeling, real-time systems, and natural language processing technologies, urban services are becoming increasingly efficient, adaptable, and citizen-focused. AI serves as a strategic engine in the digital transformation process of cities, with the potential to reshape urban life. This study deeply analyzes AI’s role within the context of smart cities, governance requirements, technological innovations, and societal impacts, based on application examples and a conceptual framework. Below, the core components of this transformation are explained, and a roadmap for the future is discussed. This study examines the multifaceted role of AI in managing urban infrastructures such as transportation, energy, waste, security, and public health. It emphasizes the importance of AI-driven decision support systems, data privacy challenges, algorithmic bias, and digital inequality while highlighting the necessity of participatory governance and ethical frameworks. Ultimately, the aim is to provide a comprehensive overview of AI-based urban management strategies and to underscore AI’s transformative potential in creating sustainable, inclusive, and resilient cities.
