In spite of large variety of methods currently used for struggle with asphalt, resin and paraffin deposits (ARPD) that are formed during oil production and pipeline transportation of liquid hydrocarbonic raw stock, the problem is still actual for the industry and becomes acuter due to increase of fields being in the final development stage in the country. Use of state-of-the-art technologies of oil production and transportation processes computer simulation with account of wax precipitation requires accurate evaluation of the organic deposits thermal conduction value. At that up to now an approved methodology of its evaluation has not been explained in scientific and technical literature. The authors have developed a methodology, which permits to assess ARPD thermal conduction based on heat-and-mass transfer laws when studying the organic deposits formation processes using laboratory facility Wax Flow Loop. Application of the methodology does not require a large quantity of initial data. The value of the magnitude under study obtained during methodology approbation is correlated with the corresponding parameters used in the scientific and technical literature. The methodology advantage consists in organic deposits thermal conduction assessment without physical effects on ARPD, evaluation of this parameter variation dynamics for a specific fluid depending on influencing factors.
