© 2019 Hacettepe University 1. All rights reserved.Epics, the richest products of our cultural memory, involve every aspect of the traces left by the Turkish nation in history. It is possible to find many data about social, cultural, economic and religious life in our epics. These data shed light on monitoring the change and development of our nation, which has an archaic tradition of thousands of years, in many different geographies in the historical process. In the Turkish state tradition, on the solid foundations on which the executive-public relations are based, especially the sensitivity to spiritual values and sanctus has great importance. It is possible to see this sensitivity in the most striking form in our epics. In our study, based on the Turkish epics of different periods and conditions, the approach of the central hero / statesman to the saints and religious values will be examined comparatively.
