The physical characteristics of the centers of Azerbaijan / Turkish Khanates were discussed, comments were made on the determination of the common character of the city structure and architecture, also it has been pointed out that monuments with artistic value are largely destroyed. The importance of these structures, which constitute an important place in the architectural history of Azerbaijan, in the medieval Turkish architectural tradition, was emphasized and the dimensions of interaction with the Great Seljuk heritage were discussed in relation to the examples. In the study, comparative criticism was brought to the results of the deliberate deterioration of the physical structure of the Turkish city with the interventions in the Tsarist Russia period.
