A verb is a word used by a person to convey movement, motion, which follows a mental process during its formation, is perceived by the sense organs and materializes in the process. Over time, a concept field is formed with words that complement each other in terms of meaning. Tart-, one of the most frequently used verbs in Khakas, is basically used for the action of "pulling". Derived from the verb "tart-" (generally with -l, -n, -r, -s and -mas suffixes) derivatives of it indicate their primary meaning in terms of activity or passivity, while with some others they move away from their primary meaning and gain a new one. In the study, the lexical meaning features of the verb "tart-", its grammatical form and the compound structures it forms, its derivatives, fields of usage and the structures it brings together will be explained in relation to the mental stages in Khakas. In this way, other meanings of the verb tart-, which is not found in Khakas dictionaries (either in the headings or subheadings) but has a very common usage in Khakas vocabulary, will be revealed.
