In spreading Islam in the Balkans Bektashism has an important role. A lot of buildings of this sect were built in the past. There are a large number of big and small lodges belonging to Bektashi sect which has an important role in spreading Islam in the Balkans. One of them is Harabati Baba-Sersem Ali Baba Bektashi Complex in Kalkandelen city, which is the subject of our study. Cultural and social features of this complex in the past have been important for the growth and sustainability of Turkish and Islamic Art in the Balkans. This big lodge has a great role in the history of Turkish art both for its purpose to be built and its different decoration styles. With the regional properties they have, the decoration of the structure of lodges reflects the development line of Turkish art in the Balkans in the eighteenth century. The aim of this study is to introduce the structures in the lodge in the terms of both decoration and architecture, to point out some interesting examples from the decorations and to describe the conditions of the structures today. On the other hand, our aim is to attract attention for the importance of this architectural value which is out of the borders of our country.
