Özet
Voice assistants are artificial intelligence-powered digital platforms designed to interact with users through natural language commands. These systems typically function through commonly used digital tools offering a variety of services to users. Fundamentally, voice assistants utilize natural language processing (NLP) technologies to comprehend user commands, process them, and generate appropriate responses. The adoption of voice assistants in e-government platforms enables citizens to access public services more quickly and efficiently. Thanks to their user-friendly interfaces, even individuals with limited technological experience can easily navigate these systems. The multitasking features of voice assistants allow users to save time and accelerate daily activities.Integration with e-government services simplifies bureaucratic procedures and enhances the efficiency of citizen-government interactions. However, the use of voice assistants also introduces several security and privacy concerns. Devices that continuously listen may increase the risk of unauthorized access to personal data. Moreover, actions performed through voice commands can sometimes result in misunderstandings or errors. In this context, the incorporation of voice assistants into e-government systems raises significant concerns regarding the protection of citizens’ personal information. This section will examine the definition, benefits, and drawbacks of voice assistants, with a particular focus on the security and privacy challenges they present.
