Özet

Electrochemical biosensors serve significant advantages over other sensor technologies and classical methods with their high sensitivity, reliability and

ease of miniaturization. These features make these sensors an effective tool for the early diagnosis and monitoring of cardiovascular diseases which are

one of the most common causes of death today. Early analysis of cardiac biomarkers contributes to reduction of mortality rates by providing early

diagnosis [1,2]. In this work, a novel biosensor platform for the electrochemical detection of a cardiac biomarker, cardiac troponin I, was developed. The

detection platform was prepared by electrochemical deposition of gold nanoparticles on a polymeric hydrogel film. Polyaniline was preferred as the

conducting polymer in the platform and supramolecular complex formation was achieved by using phytic acid, which is known for its biocompatibility.

Thanks to this complex structure, a hydrogel film with high antifouling properties was obtained [3]. Electrochemical deposition of gold nanoparticles on

the film increased the sensor's surface reactivity and functionality. Thus, anti-troponin I antibodies were immobilized on the surface with high stability,

enabling the selective detection of troponin I. Additionally, we characterized the developed immunosensor platform by using electrochemical impedance

spectroscopy (EIS), cyclic voltammetry (CV), differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
