Özet

Elifnâme has attracted the attention of a number poets and writers as a narrative style in Turkish literature. Elifnâme, committed on diferent subjects on the basis of twenty-eight and thirty-two letters are generally written in verse. However, for the frst time, Elifnâme by Kaygusuz Wandering Dervish dealt with in this article has emerged an example of this style as the only prose. Kaygusuz Wandering Dervish is a sheikh who lived in Anatolia in the XIV-XV century. Thirteen works in mystical content have been identifed up to now but his Elifnâme in a conk (poetry notebook) has been uncovered for the frst time thanks to this study. In this paper, thanks to Elifnâme, the efect of Hurûfîsm on Bektashi-Kalenderi explaining all assets with the interpretation of letters has been seen more clearly and strongly. In this article, Elifnâme style and Elifnâme by Kaygusuz Abdal and the efects of Hurûfsm have been emphasized in this work. The transcription of Elifnâme, the subject of the study, is given at the end of the study.
