Prof. Dr. Haşim YILMAZ
Born in 1974 in Çermik, Diyarbakır, Prof. Dr. Haşim Yılmaz completed his primary education at Çermik Atatürk Primary School and his secondary education at Diyarbakır Imam Hatip High School. He began his academic journey by graduating from the Department of Chemistry Education at Dicle University Faculty of Education in 1996, and subsequently completed his graduate studies at Gazi University’s Institute of Science, Department of Chemistry, between 1996 and 2003.
Serving as a faculty member in the Department of Physical Chemistry since 2005, Prof. Dr. Yılmaz has held numerous administrative positions, including Head of Department, Deputy Dean, and Senate Member, contributing significantly to academic governance.
His areas of expertise include physical chemistry, polymer chemistry, nanochemistry, and biomedical materials; he has authored numerous scientific papers published in prestigious national and international journals. Furthermore, he has served as a reviewer for various scholarly journals and has actively participated in scientific events within the field of Polymer Science and Technology.
Currently continuing his academic career at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, Department of Chemistry, Prof. Dr. Yılmaz is proficient in English and Arabic. He is married and a father of two.
