Dr Cihat Erbil is an Associate Professor at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University (HBV), Turkey, specialising in organisational sociology and organisation theory through the lens of Critical Management Studies. His research explores how power operates within organisations and how management practices shape dynamics of inclusion, marginalisation, and resistance. He examines how institutional norms reproduce inequality and how marginalised individuals and groups navigate, negotiate, and resist these constraints. His work seeks to challenge conventional boundaries in management and organisational studies by advancing critical, context-sensitive approaches to research. His publications have appeared in journals such as Human Resource Management Journal, Journal of Business Ethics, The International Journal of Human Resource Management, Organization, Gender, Work & Organization, Employee Relations, and Leadership. He has also contributed chapters to numerous edited volumes and served in editorial roles across several international collections and special issues.
